KAYSERİ BİLFEN’LİLER GENETİK YOLCULUKTA DNA’nın İZİNDE
05.03.2015 tarihinde 14.00 da Türkiye’nin en büyük Kök Hücre Merkezi olan, aynı zamanda Genetik çalışmalar için kurulmuş laboratuvarların bulunduğu GenKök Araştırma Merkezinde bir saat süren konferansta öğrencilerimiz genetik dünyasında etkileyici bir yolculuk yaptıktan sonra genetiğin geleceği hakkında fikirlerini tartışıp klonlama, transgenik canlılar ve tüp bebek yöntemi gibi merak ettikleri birçok konu hakkında bilgi sahibi oldular.
Konferanstan sonra laboratuvarları gezme imkânı bulan öğrencilerimiz, ICSI (mikroenjeksiyon) ve IVF (tüp bebek) yönteminde kullanılan cihazların yanında Türkiye’de ilk defa 24 saat gibi kısa sürede DNA dizi analizi yapabilecek cihaz hakkında bilgi sahibi oldular ve araştırmalarda kullanılan transgenik canlıları görebilme fırsatı yakaladılar.
KAYSERI BILFEN STUDENTS FOLLOWING THE FOOTSTEPS OF DNA IN GENETIC JOURNEY
Our students made an impressive journey on the genetic world and discussed the future of genetics at Turkey’s biggest Research Stem Cell Center (GenKok), which is established for the genetic studies on March 5th, 2015 at 2 pm. They had a lot of information about cloning, transgenic creatures and test-tube baby methods and discussed the future of genetics in a one-hour conference held at the center.
Students had the opportunity to visit laboratories after the conference. They had information about the devices like ICSI (microinjection) and IVF, used in test-tube baby method and the device that will be able to do DNA sequence analyses in 24 hours first time in Turkey. They also had the opportunity to see transgenic creatures used in research.
